Hi, I’m Karen Thullner —interior designer, consultant, and founder of Watershed Design Group.
My vision in creating Watershed Design Group was a place were designers could collaborate and provide their unique skills in a creative "Aha!" environment, not unlike a Watershed moment.
With a diverse background that includes working alongside architects, as well as experience in apparel and graphic design, I bring a unique eye to every project. I specialize in space planning and love the challenge of finding creative solutions for difficult spaces.

My Story
For me, interior design is where creativity meets functionality. My design philosophy is simple: I believe your space should enhance your well-being, connection, and productivity. I start by listening to you, learning how you live and what inspires you. I pay meticulous attention to every detail, from selecting sustainable materials to layering in curated art and antiques, to create a space that feels uniquely yours. It’s my greatest joy to see your space become a true reflection of the people who inhabit it. And she plays underwater hockey (yes, it is a real sport).
